Stefanie Dams

Mr Stefanie Dams obtained her Master of Laws with distinction from KU Leuven in 2021.

During her studies, she enriched her knowledge by studying a semester at the Law School of the University of Adelaide. There, she specialised in international subjects and refined her professional English.

Her curiosity and interest in innovation led Stefanie to an exciting summer internship at a legal tech company that develops cutting-edge software solutions for lawyers and the legal industry.

From October 2021, Stefanie will be part of the Brussels Bar. She began her career at Eversheds Sutherland (Belgium) LLP in Brussels, where she specialised as a Junior Associate in various aspects of economic law, with a particular focus on data protection.

In September 2021, Stefanie made the move to DGDM, where she is part of the Data, Tech & Entertainment Team and the Corporate Law Team. Her choice of DGDM was partly determined by their innovative and dynamic ‘smart rebels’ culture.

In addition to her legal expertise, Stefanie is known as a ‘people person’ with an empathetic and enthusiastic personality.

In her free time, you will often see Stefanie engaged in a range of sporting activities – from dancing to spinning – but you might just as well find her in a trendy diner in Ghent.
